Where did the name Grace House Coaching originate?

I’m so glad you asked! As a Christ follower, I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. I am the house. It’s His grace that covers me and teaches me to realign to my true identity. The adjustments to His Word and His ways are a lifelong process allowing me to become the best version of myself.

Matthew 7:24 - Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the stream rose, and the wind blew and beat against the house; yet it did not fall because it had it’s foundation on the rock.

 

  • A wellness professional who supports people in making progress in different areas of their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment by targeting an individual’s unique skills and gifts.

  • Yes, I attended Life Purpose Institute, which is accredited by The International Coaching Federation (ICF). My life experiences include over thirty years of marriage, four children (biological/adoption), ten years in youth ministry, work in women’s ministry, and public speaking to name a few.

  • Counseling focuses on the past or looking back to uncover or heal from traumas and issues. Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping the client move past obstacles into desired outcomes. If you need a counselor more than a coach, I can assist you in that.

  • My Grace House Coaching business and I are direct results or living proof of “Changing Forward” with the help of a life coach! I have dealt with past trauma through counseling, but needed help/support in figuring out how to get unstuck and move forward. Coaching gave me the tools I needed to take next steps. I have learned to re-frame thoughts, honor and give space for past hurts/failures but not allow them to reign or rule. As an over thinker, I received support in identifying and clarifying goals and setting up steps to achieve them. My primary love language is service so learning to receive, to take care of myself and grow and development my gifts and talent is exactly what I needed.
